World Amyloidosis Day
One day, one message: Be the Link. Patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals and patient organisations from every continent unite to make amyloidosis known, and diagnosed sooner.
International meeting
September 2027 · London
AL / ATTR International Meeting
Patients, families, clinicians and researchers in the same room, speaking plainly. The 2027 edition is the first to bring the AL and ATTR communities together in a single international meeting.

World Amyloidosis Day
Amyloidosis is a rare and multifaceted disease which is barely known, even among healthcare professionals. Because its symptoms mimic far more common conditions, it takes four years on average to reach a diagnosis: four years during which the damage caused to the organs is often irreversible.
World Amyloidosis Day exists to close that gap. Every 26 October, the international community comes together under one campaign, Be the Link, with medical conferences, concerts, open lectures, press campaigns and patient meetings held in dozens of countries.

International meeting · September 2027
AL / ATTR International Meeting for Patients and Doctors
Patients and the specialists who treat them rarely share the same room. Scientific congresses are built for clinicians and researchers; patient meetings seldom give access to the teams working on the disease. The questions that weigh most in daily life, what to expect, what to watch for, what research is actually changing, are the ones that get the least time.
The International AL / ATTR Meeting for Patients and Doctors was created to close that distance. Since 2017, five editions have brought researchers, clinicians and patient organisations onto the same programme, in language everyone in the audience can follow. The sixth edition, in London in September 2027, is the first to bring the AL and ATTR communities together in a single international event.
